Izumo, encounters, Kararako.
In October of the lunar calendar, eight million gods from all over Japan in Izumo for an annual Shinto ritual. We named this hotel Kararako (神等楽来, “welcoming gods”), with the desire to welcome guests who visit this area, just as we would welcome the gods who travel all the way to Izumo.
The open spaces and guest rooms are made with natural materials, and works of art on display express a pure and playful spirit.
And we serve dishes that allow you to enjoy the natural features of the San’in region and Izumo, which can only be tasted here.
We look forward to meeting you at Kararako, located along the approach to Izumo Taisha.
